GEAR FOR SPORTS determines quality and delivery can be improved by moving Champions' screen print services from Chihuahua, Mexico, to a location closer to its Lenexa headquarters. A location is secured in Chillicothe, Missouri and a new plant is established. The Chillicothe location grows faster than anticipated and currently utilizes 15 automatic presses.
